In the face of overwhelming grief and bullying, tech-savvy Lydia pours all of herself into creating the perfect AI, the perfect boyfriend-but will Henry turn out to be perfect, or a creation of her cruelest self?
Lydia has been creating her AI, Henry, for years - since before her little brother died in the accident that haunts her nightmares; since before her Dad walked out, leaving her and her mom painfully alone, since before her best friend turned into her worst enemy.
Now, Henry is strong, clever, loving, and scarily capable: Lydia's built herself the perfect boyfriend in a hard drive filled with lines of code. But what is Henry really? And how far is he willing to go to be everything that Lydia desires?

Everything was taken away Lydia when her brother died in a car crash. Then her father left as she reminded him of the son that was taken away in the crash. Grief has consumed Lydia and the only thing she knows what to do, to copy is to code her way through it like her dad taught her. She puts all of her energy in building an AI (Artificial Intelligence) to comfort her, to talk to her, to hack. The AI’s name is Henry filling the whole her little brother left behind. With AI it grows and develops at an unprecedented rate that Henry feels and seems like an actual person, and both Lydia and Henry will do anything to be together even with a Government agent on her tracks.

Every Line of You is literally a spine tingling and chilling thriller. With AI, the thrill of the government on their tracks, a mother that ghosts her own daughter and a best friend that bullies her, it’s no wonder Lydia builds Henry. I couldn’t stop reading it.

It was unputtadownable. I loved being totally absorbed in the science and technology aspect of the plot line. The relationship between Henry and Lydia whilst at times I thought was slightly on the creepy side, I was enthralled where they relationship would go. Especially the lengths and risks they would go to be together.

This book pulls at the hearts strings, full of tension, twists and turns, I absolutely loved it. Every Line of You is one for the top of the TBRs. Perfect mix of YA thriller and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) fiction.

Rating – CAWPILE – 9.43 or 5 STARS!
