Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that is designed to provide some much-appreciated exposure to the bloggers participating, and to expand their following. Hosted byParajunkee and Alison Can Read, each of whom feature a chosen blog for the week, it’s an interesting way to get to know one another.
Q: What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?
A: The Hunger Games. I hate to say this but you are probably going to say “WHAT!?” to this but the book. I loved the movie and the first was alright but, the rest were awful and I’m not a great fan. On this note, I’m going to have to say that the film was better than the books. Sorry!
What do you think of The Hunger Games? What’s your disappointed hype? Leave your blog’s FF below and I will be sure to ‘hop’ on over…
Also I would love to reach the 200 Followers, So spread the word because at the end, there will be a Appreciation Giveaway… Got any ideas what book you would like me to host as a giveaway. Let me know.
Well, I read The Hunger Games just before the major hype set in, and I've got to say, the film was good, but I just adore the books. I can appreciate they're not for everyone though, and admittedly the second and third aren't as good.

Hi there. I have to say I liked the book much better than the movie. 🙂

I loved all three Hunger Games books, though I can see why a lot of people didn't like the last one. I appreciated Suzanne Collins for writing the hard ending instead of the popular ending though.
New GFC folloewr :]

I agree with you! I could barely read Hunger Games, and didn't even bother with the rest of the books.
I'm a new GFC follower. Stop by and return the follow?
Happy Friday!
Here's my Follow Friday post.
YAY! I'm NOT the only one. 😀 I haven't watched the film, I read the books before it was even out, but to be honest I'm not particularly interested. I'm not doing this feature at the moment, but I can easily name two: Hunting Lila and The Iron King. Thanks for sharing, Em! 🙂
I really like Hunger Games but I'm very aware of it's flaws. On the re-read I was very snarky.
My follow friday! Please visit!
I loved the first book and I loved Catching Fire more when I re-read it…but I absolutely detest Mockingjay. Just no no no. LOL.

I read and loved the books, but I do agree that they were over hyped… it seems so many people who were raving about them have never heard of a little book called Battle Royale.
Having read Battle Royale first, I couldn't figure out why so many people felt this was so original.
