Review Copy Cleanup 4.0!

Posted January 31, 2014 by Emma in Blog / 7 Comments

Hi Everyone, today I’m really pleased to say that I’m joining this feature. I’m always struggling behind with my review pile. But this year I want to crack down on it with all the books that I receive through the post. Here is a little bit about RCC and if you would like join yourself, click here

RCC is a month-long event in which Celine from Nyx Book Reviews and Vicky from Books, Biscuits and Tea challenge ourselves to read as many review books as we possibly can. We are both notorious for accepting way too many requests, and consequently our to-be-read piles are pretty daunting. For some extra motivation to read, we invented the Review Copy Cleanup. This year we are keeping things simple – no challenges and just one scheduled chat, and weekly updates so we can all keep track of each other’s progress. You’re welcome to keep track of the challenge in the way that’s most convenient for you.

These will be the books that I will be reading and reviewing this are:

Paperback
 17568548 15697915 18684864   The Finisher
NetGalley
15839976 18755824 19101169
Am I going to get through all of these?! I have given myself one hell of big Review Pile and but we’ll see how it goes. This may encourage me to do so.
Are you joining the Review Copy Cleanup? If so link me up…
Are you reading any of these book or have you read them? I would love to hear your thoughts on them. Leave me a comment below.

  1. Sounds like a really good initiative, I've been meaning to join one of these for a while! I've got so many review copies but I always focus on the new ones that I want to read that some of the older ones get forgotten. Good luck with this month, I hope you enjoy these books!

  2. I'm joining in too – it's most definitely needed =) A couple of these I haven't heard of – but I've definitely heard of Fangirl. Part of me wants to read it, and part of me really isn't interested! Haha, very conflicted.

  3. I'm doing the Review Copy Cleanup too! 😀 I haven't actually read any review books this month yet… *guiltily looks down* I've been distracted by shiny new releases! I just finished Fangirl and you will LOVE it, it has made my favourites list. Red is okay, I think it's a nice quick and light read. I'm dying to read If You Find Me. Happy reading and good luck 🙂

  4. I absolutely loved Red Rising and Fangirl, Emma, so I hope you enjoy those. I wasn't a fan of The Killing Woods – though I hope you enjoy it more than I did! – and am curious to see what you think of these other titles. Good luck finishing them all, dear! 🙂
