The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 13 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
It’s that time of the year again…I am a recent joiner of the #boutofbooks challenge and the last time I participated it was a huge success for me and really loved it. I managed to read far more than I would usually in a week. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with other members and updating my progress as well as seeing other people joining in on the fun. Now like all readers its choosing what book to read, do I go ARCs which I have quite a lot of, or my TBR which again is ever-growing. Sadly lol. So I’ve decided to mix it up a bit and this is a potential list of books that I will likely pick from this week.
Monday –
Asa by Jay Crownover –
Pages read 50
*SIGHS*
Tuesday –
Asa by Jay Crownover –
Pages read up to 159
*Sadly not having that much time to read this week.*
Wednesday –
Asa by Jay Crownover
Pages read up to 211
*I will finish this book tomorrow…I will!*
Good luck with reading girl 🙂 You can do it. Surprisingly all of them are new to me so I cannot wait to see what you think of them 🙂
I have never joined but I do participate in an ARC challenge (going on right now) and in the TBR pile challenge every year. I love them as well because they really do help me to pick up those books and read!
Ahhhh can't wait to see what you think of Nowhere But Here Emma! I couldn't be more excited for that one:) I'm really looking forward to Between Us and the Moon as well, I loved Rebecca's Infinite series. GO YOU!!!!
Good luck with your reading Emma! I wasn't able to read much today, but hopefully will get more read later tonight, I hope we both end up enjoying Every Little Word!
I work a lot this week as well, so this wouldn't be a good time to join the challenge. I hope you get a lot of these read though, and good luck!
Woot! Good luck, Emma! 🙂 Curious to your thoughts on Between Us and the Moon, Every Last Word and Nowhere But Here. Hopefully you'll end up enjoying all of them. 🙂
I haven't read any of these, but contemporaries are a good choice for readathons in my opinion. Good luck!
