Goodreads

A brand new series from Booktuber Lucy Powrie - about what happens when you give up on trying to fit in and let your weird out! It's time to join The Paper & Hearts Society ...
Tabby Brown is tired of trying to fit in. She doesn't want to go to parties - in fact, she would much rather snuggle up on the sofa with her favourite book.
It's like she hasn't found her people ...
Then Tabby joins a club that promises to celebrate books. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING - especially when making new friends brings out an AWKWARD BUZZING feeling all over her body.
But Olivia, Cassie, Henry and Ed have something that makes Tabby come back. Maybe it's the Austen-themed fancy-dress parties, or Ed's fluffy cat Mrs Simpkins, or could it be Henry himself ...
Can Tabby let her weird out AND live THE BEST BOOKISH LIFE POSSIBLE?
Perfect for fans of Holly Smale and Super Awkward.

Top 5 Books that make me SmileCasting Queen (Waiting for Callback #1) by Perdita Cargill, Honor Cargill
Published by Simon & Schuster UK on February 21, 2018
Genres: Contemporary
Amazon | Book Depository | Waterstones
Goodreads

When Elektra is discovered by an acting agent, she imagines Oscar glory can't be far away, but instead lurches from one cringe-worthy moment to the next! Just how many times can you be rejected for the part of 'Dead Girl Number Three' without losing hope? And who knew that actors were actually supposed to be multi-lingual, play seven instruments and be trained in a variety of circus skills?
Off-stage things aren't going well either - she's fallen out with her best friend, remains firmly in the friend-zone with her crush and her parents are driving her crazy. One way or another, Elektra's life is now spent waiting for the phone to ring - waiting for callback.
Can an average girl-next-door like Elektra really make it in the world of luvvies and starlets? Geek Girl meets Fame meets New Girl in this brilliantly funny new series!

I would also recommend Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales, Alex in Wonderland by Simon James Green, The Potion Diaries by Amy McCulloch, No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter and so many more.

Reading make me smile, but I do love a feel good, that makes you fell giddy and happy, don’t you?!

What books make you smile? Let me know as I would love more to read.

  1. The Paper & Hearts Society looks so cute! I might have to pick it up one time. And I’m lowkey interested in the acting industry so I should also try Casting Queen. Have you read The Prince and the Dressmaker? It definitely made smile at just how sweet and wonderful it was <3
