Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely ladies at The Artsy Reader Girl! Each week, a new topic is put into place and bloggers share their top ten accordingly.
This is my first Top Ten Tuesday, I’m not sure why I haven’t done this before, but I thought it might be something different for my blog and I always love talking to other people.
The Ten Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List
So the beauty of this week’s one is that I’ve recently updated my Goodreads but also I’ve been gifted/received lots of new books from publishers so it will probably seem like more of wrap up of what I’ve recently got. I’m also really trying to stick to my most recent books I’ve received to read in order. (I’ve linked all the images with the Goodreads links. )
Happy Girl Lucky (The Valentines #1) by Holly Smale – So I’ve been lucky enough to get Holly to come to my school on her promotional tour for her latest book, Happy Girl Lucky. I’m so exited so I want to read before she comes.
Slayer by Kiersten White – I’m hoping this is obvious but Buffy the Vampire Slayer world, need I say more.
On the Come Up by Angie Thomas – I was extremely lucky to recieved a copy (gifted) from Walker and well… again need I say any more. I may wait to read it once the major hype is over.
The Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer – I’m doing Fantasy Feb (another name for the month will be revealed) so I’m looking at some cracking fantasy and this I’ve had my eye on for ages. Plus Beauty and the Beast retelling, sounds amazing as it is beautiful.
Viper by Bex Hogan – I honestly can’t wait to read this book, a brand new author and a brand new fantasy series. It sounds incredible.
The Wicked King (The Cruel Prince #1) by Holly Black – This has been my most recent by and certainly added to the TBR pile, although I still need to read The Cruel Prince. So I intend to do that very shortly.
We Are Blood and Thunder by Kesia Lupo – Again this is for Fantasy Feb but it’s not out till April.
Enchantée by Gita Trelease – Blog tour and once again fits perfectly with my fantasy month I’m planning.
Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard – I adore everything that Sara writes and her books are always the highlight of the year, so I can’t wait to revisit the characters from Beautiful Broken Things.
The Extinction Trials: Rebel by S.M. Wilson – The last in the series and it comes to the end next month. I’ve absolutely loved this world of Hunger Games and Jurassic Park and would recommend the series to everyone.

Enchantee is so good-my favourite book of the year so far! I’m reading A Curse So Dark and Lonely at the moment and it’s decent, but I haven’t really got into it yet.

A Curse So Dark and Lonely looks fantastic! I also need to read The Hate U Give so I can catch up and read On the Come Up (I’m a big fan of reading author’s books in publication order when I can).
I need to read THUG too. It’s been so hyped up that I haven’t felt like reading it yet. But I’m making that a 2019 goal.
That Enchantée cover is everything! there are some titles I didn’t know about so I’ll be cheicking those out 😁 great list!
