Evening my lovely readers. Another post the day after my review. Who am I? Well I very rarely do TTT, and I saw this week’s prompt and I couldn’t resist.
Top Ten Tuesday Is A Weekly Meme Hosted By The Lovely Ladies At The Artsy Reader Girl! Each Week, A New Topic Is Put Into Place And Bloggers Share Their Top Ten Accordingly.
I’ll be honest lately I’m not a huge TBR list person, I’m very much mood reading but I just love putting together a summer TBR. A lot of them will be summer themed as if I’m going on holiday. I’ve been browsing my shelves of unread books looking for the perfect selection. So without further ado here is my list.
Summer TBR (subject to change with mood 😂)
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell | I haven’t read a Rainbow Rowell book for ages, the last one has to be Fangirl. But this book is bright and romantic ( I hope) and been on the TBR for ages.
Chasing Lucky and Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett | I have a collection of Jenn’s books becuase they are perfect summer reads. I still have these read so I have to have a Jenn Bennett Summer. Just look at the covers. I also prefer the UK to US covers. Just sayin’.
Beach Read by Emily Henry | This one I just got approval from Netgalley after seeing so many raving reviews on bookstagram. I have to read this book.
The Last Summer of Us by Maggie Harcourt | The only one of Maggie’s I haven’t read and it’s a must right?! Look at the cover!
Melt my Heart by Bethany Rutter | I’m on a blog tour for this book and I read No Big Deal last year and loved it.
Boy Queen by George Lester | Brand new LGBTQ book that just screams that it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Fin & Rye & Fireflies by Harry Cook | To finish it off, another gorgeously designed LGBTQ+ book – out in August that I can’t wait to read.
But there is one book that I will put down my TBR for and that’s MIDNIGHT SUN by Stephenie Meyer. As a HUGE fan of Twilight, there’s nothing more to say than I WILL BE READING IT!
So a bit of a mixture of reads. This is subject to change due to my mood that’s for sure. Just looking at all these books, reminds me of holiday and the beach and I wish, I hope I might see it during the summer holidays. But I will have my books for company and I’ll just have to buy a paddling pool instead.
