Evening my lovely readers. Another post the day after my review. Who am I? Well I very rarely do TTT, and I saw this week’s prompt and I couldn’t resist.

Top Ten Tuesday Is A Weekly Meme Hosted By The Lovely Ladies At The Artsy Reader Girl! Each Week, A New Topic Is Put Into Place And Bloggers Share Their Top Ten Accordingly.

I’ll be honest lately I’m not a huge TBR list person, I’m very much mood reading but I just love putting together a summer TBR. A lot of them will be summer themed as if I’m going on holiday. I’ve been browsing my shelves of unread books looking for the perfect selection. So without further ado here is my list.

Summer TBR (subject to change with mood 😂)

A Sky Painted Gold: Amazon.co.uk: Laura Wood: BooksEleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell | WaterstonesSerious Moonlight | Book by Jenn Bennett | Official Publisher Page ...Beach Read by Emily Henry | Waterstones
A Sky Painted Gold by Laura Wood | Last summer I read Laura’s Under the Dancing Star and I simply adored it. I read it on holiday and it was the perfect escapism, Florence, art, romance. So now I want to pick up her first YA, A Sky Painted Gold.

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell | I haven’t read a Rainbow Rowell book for ages, the last one has to be Fangirl. But this book is bright and romantic ( I hope) and been on the TBR for ages.

Chasing Lucky and Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett | I have a collection of Jenn’s books becuase they are perfect summer reads. I still have these read so I have to have a Jenn Bennett Summer. Just look at the covers. I also prefer the UK to US covers. Just sayin’.

Beach Read by Emily Henry | This one I just got approval from Netgalley after seeing so many raving reviews on bookstagram. I have to read this book.

The Last Summer of Us” at Usborne Children's BooksMelt My Heart: Amazon.co.uk: Rutter, Bethany: BooksFin & Rye & Fireflies - Black & White Publishing
Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds | It’s been on my TBR for ages and its the bright cover that is just perfect for my summer TBR. I’m basically going through all of my romances.

The Last Summer of Us by Maggie Harcourt | The only one of Maggie’s I haven’t read and it’s a must right?! Look at the cover!

Melt my Heart by Bethany Rutter | I’m on a blog tour for this book and I read No Big Deal last year and loved it.

Boy Queen by George Lester | Brand new LGBTQ book that just screams that it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Fin & Rye & Fireflies by Harry Cook | To finish it off, another gorgeously designed LGBTQ+ book – out in August that I can’t wait to read.

New "Twilight" Book "Midnight Sun" Coming August 4th

But there is one book that I will put down my TBR for and that’s MIDNIGHT SUN by Stephenie Meyer. As a HUGE fan of Twilight, there’s nothing more to say than I WILL BE READING IT!

So a bit of a mixture of reads. This is subject to change due to my mood that’s for sure. Just looking at all these books, reminds me of holiday and the beach and I wish, I hope I might see it during the summer holidays. But I will have my books for company and I’ll just have to buy a paddling pool instead.

What’s on your Summer TBR? Have you done a Top Ten Tuesday post – then leave your link in the comments.

It’s all the books I never get too and more. Also as a school librarian we have a long list to read too […]

Top Ten Tuesday – Places Mentioned In Books That I’d Like to Visit

Top Ten Tuesday is becoming a regular feature on my blog and I love it. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely ladies at The Artsy Reader Girl! Each week, a new topic is put into place and bloggers share their top ten accordingly.  This week is all about bookish places that I would love to visit… Some fantasy worlds that of course you need to visit like Prythian and Hogwarts. Then there is the historical places that I wish I could go back in time like Paris in 1700s and Regency London. There is also […]

Top Ten Tuesday – Books I LOVED with Fewer than 2,000 Ratings on Goodreads

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely ladies at The Artsy Reader Girl! Each week, a new topic is put into place and bloggers share their top ten accordingly.  This is such a great list… when I saw it I was like how do I know how to find out about the rating rather than going through every book and all I did was select ‘num ratings’ on the settings and voila. I couldn’t believe that so many of my favourites are 2000 ratings… THIS needs to change, these books are amazing… and you NEED to […]
