JANUARY WRAP-UP AND FEBRUARY PLANS

Posted February 1, 2019 by Emma in Blog, Monthly Wrap-Up Post, TBR, UKYA, Wrap-Up / 6 Comments

My first wrap-up post of 2019!!!! I hope your start to 2019 has been great. It’s been crazy busy for me, both personally and at work. I have to say I love the start of a new year, with more new books, it’s feels like you’re starting another reading journey. It’s also my first month on WordPress and I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made. I feel like my blogging is growing in a new way and I intend to be a bit more creative with my post but continue what I love to write on my blog too. I hope you some regular followers of blog and some new ones have enjoyed the posts so far. Next month is going to be a great month as I do my annual Fantasy February, check it out further down this post.

Reading this month has been really relaxed and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’ve read a couple of my most anticipated and I received so many amazing books and I can’t wait to share them with you now.

Book’s I’ve Read

Book of the Month

My review for this book will be on Sunday…but honestly this book is a masterpiece. Something I do keep saying about it. It surprised me and made me cry in a good way. The writing is exception and the storyline is on point. Read my review on Sunday.

Books reviewed this month:

SLAY On Tour by Kim Curran

Books received (gifted) – thank you so much lovely publishers.

I did’t have anything till last week and it was overwhelming the amazing books I got. I mean I got picked randomly for On the Come Up, that never happens. Happy Girl Lucky I’m currently reading loving it. I’ll have a special post about that in the middle of the month. I’ve got some cracking Fantasy books all part of my themed fantasy month. I can’t wait!

Most Anticipated books fo Feb…

Some of these are quite repetitive from my last post which was TTT. But I’m lucky to already have been gifted these books from publishers. I can’t wait to go back to the Buffyverse, adore a new book from the lovely Sara Barnard, complete The Extinction Trials series, so sad and be part of the International Blog tour of Enchantée.  So my reading plans are slightly to one genre this month with maybe one anticipated read. So I’m doing my annual Fantasy February, which will be called this year…

After loving the ACOTAR series, this was a kind of perfect name for my themed month. I really hope you will join me in my fantasy month, as I’m really looking forward to it. I will be posting my official start up post on Saturday with my TBR and other plans for my blog.

How was your start to 2019? Do you have a wrap-up post? Or looking forward to any of these books? Let me know in the comments.
