Hello my bookish friends, I’m SO EXCITED to introduce to you my first new feature of 2020 hitting my blog. At the beginning of each year we all do our anticipated reads of 2020. This year I wanted to do it a little differently. There is SO many new books out this year that I can’t wait for, that I thought I would do a seasonal anticipated reads post – 4 times a year (maybe 5 with a second Winter at the end of the year).

Well, without a doubt and a book I’m currently reading and loving. But I love anything by Kate and Liz. They are amazing people and writers and this book really has gone down so well already. It’s out this week. So grab a copy. Release date, January 9th.

One of Us is Next (One of Us is Lying #2)| by Karen McManus
January is quite clearly the month for sequels as well. Around this time of the year I devour Karen’s latest mystery novel. This one is the long awaited continuation to One of Us is Lying. Who’s excited? Release date,
A Heart So Fierce and Broken (Cursebreakers #2)| by Brigid Kemmerer
I’ve already read and loved this book. It finally coming out in 3 days for so many people. I’m a very new lover of Brigid’s books as I only got on the fandom of ACSDAL in November. But I love this series!!!! Release date, January 9th
Loveboat, Taipei | by Abigail Hing Wen
This is a very last minute submission to S&S claiming it for publication. I honestly can’t wait to read it this month. Described for fans of To All the Boy’s I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. So make sure you pick up a copy. The Waterstones edition is gorgeous! Release date, January 7th.
Wilder Girls | by Rory Power
This book has already been out in America from July and Macmillan was handing out copies ay YALC. Something about this book really intrigues, the reviews have been incredible and the cover is stunning. I think this is one is too look out for this year. Release date, February 20th.
Harley in the Sky | by Akemi Dawn Bowman
Ever since I loved Summer Bird Blue last year, Akemi is an auto read author now and I can’t wait to read her next book. Release date, March 10th.
The Map from Here to There | by Emery Lord
Who doesn’t love Emery’s books! It’s been a while since I read her books but I’ve loved each and every one. I can do with a romance book. Release date, March 5th.
And the were Stars Burning Brightly | by Danielle Jawando
Since I heard about this book last year and also meeting Daniella at the S&S brunch. It’s quite an emotional book and I honestly can’t wait to read her story. Release date, March 5th.
Crescent City | by Sarah J. Maas
It’s an anticipated read post and Sarah just has to be on it! I’m looking forward to this new chapter to Sarah’s writing. Something very different in the adult fantasy world. I think I’m not the only one looking forward to it. Release date, March 3rd.
