Hello my bookish friends, I’m on half term! Yay! I’m so looking forward to catching up on my reading – especially a book that I’ve been reading for 2 weeks. I know, it’s crazy how work has been that I’ve just been too tired too read. So I want to read a few books off my TBR that I’ve received over the last couple of weeks. It’s just nice having a break and not worrying about work. Reading and Relaxing is what I need right now and I can’t wait!

So today I thought I would showcase some of the books I received/bought for this Fantasy themed month. There are some cracking books coming out soon. Hope you enjoy!

All sorcerers are evil. Elisabeth has known that as long as she has known anything. Raised as a foundling in one of Austermeer’s Great Libraries, Elisabeth has grown up among the tools of sorcery—magical grimoires that whisper on shelves and rattle beneath iron chains. If provoked, they transform into grotesque monsters of ink and leather. She hopes to become a warden, charged with protecting the kingdom from their power.
Then an act of sabotage releases the library’s most dangerous grimoire. Elisabeth’s desperate intervention implicates her in the crime, and she is torn from her home to face justice in the capital. With no one to turn to but her sworn enemy, the sorcerer Nathaniel Thorn, and his mysterious demonic servant, she finds herself entangled in a centuries-old conspiracy. Not only could the Great Libraries go up in flames, but the world along with them.
As her alliance with Nathaniel grows stronger, Elisabeth starts to question everything she’s been taught—about sorcerers, about the libraries she loves, even about herself. For Elisabeth has a power she has never guessed, and a future she could never have imagined.

This one I actually bought on my birthday when I was in London. My boyfriend helped me pick and to be honest Libraries and Fantasy is the best storyline. I can’t wait to read it.

But when Leo’s childhood friend and first love Elliot returns as the captain of a successful whiskey ship, everything changes. Elliot was the one that got away, the boy Leo’s family deemed to be unsuitable for marriage. Now, he’s the biggest catch of the season and he seems determined to make Leo’s life miserable. But old habits die hard, and as Leo navigates the glittering balls of the Valg Season, she finds herself failing for her first love in a game of love, lies, and past regrets.

This one is a mix between Fantasy and Science-Fiction and I’m so intrigued by the story. Plus look how amazing the book looks.

So look out for my reviews in due course. I hope to read at least two of these this week. Are you looking forward to any of these?
