First Monthly Wrap-Up of 2021 – the ‘I have my reading mojo back!’ edition.

Hello my lovely readers, and we are now the third day into February. I can’t believe the first month of 2021 has already gone by, I think lockdown has made the first month weirdly long but not if that makes sense. It’s kind of passes us by. But what I loved about this month especially is that I set myself up some great reading goals and I can say that I have certainly accomplished them. This sets a strong precedence from the rest of the year. It’s giving me this positive mindset to reading that I’m absolutely loving.

Last month I read 5 books, which is the most I’ve read in a long time. I really made sure that I designated time every day, which is usually during the night. Between 9-12 specifically. Not quite sure why but I guess when life changes i.e. the pandemic, your own patterns and routines change too. I sit in my reading nook and just read and I absolutely love it. The enjoyment of reading is most certainly back and the best bit I read quite a few blog tour books and I didn’t find the pressure with them like I usually do.

So without further ado here is my wrap up of January 2021.

MY JANUARY READING 📖

As I said I hate a great reading month. I read 4 and half books technically as I finished White Trash Warlock just after the last day but as I read the most in that month I would add it to my readings. I read a wide range of books and TWO 5 star reads. I just love seeing that many covers.

CURRENTLY READING 📚

So I thought I would add in what I’m reading and what I’m reading next. So I’m going to read The Switch by Beth O’Leary as I loved The Flat Share last year. I do have a couple of blog tours. One for Bad Habits so that next. But I am hoping to sneak in a reread in ACOTAR too.
