Hellllllloooo it’s me! Have you missed me? I hope so, I have missed my blog and have often wanted to pick up my iPad and write a review or a post but life has really gotten in the way. But rest assured it’s all positive things. So this post has been half written and in my drafts for a good few months, it’s about time I fill you in right, a lot has happened do I will keep it brief and then update you on some of my favourite books I’ve read recently.
- I started my driving lessons – ever since lockdown 2 they have been on hold and I’m loving the freedom of being able to drive off somewhere myself very soon.
- I then went freelance and started my own business in Marketing – I’m crazy right, but I love design and creating things and there was an opportunity to do something myself – I’ll tell you a bit more about it…
- Summer holiday/end of term happened and it’s been so busy – but I have read more which I’ve really enjoyed!
So what is my business may you ask?
I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t market my lil business on my own blog. I have started my own Marketing Business. Long story short, I was working on a careers convention project during lockdown with a local authority and they wanted me to continue working with them as a freelancer. I decided to start my own little marketing business called Marina Marketing. I have to say it’s very empowering building something like this and I hope that it will be successful. Over the lockdowns I really honed on my creative skills and I just love every minute of it. Since then more things happened… one more thing really…
- I’m now on the property ladder! Myself and my boyfriend are moving into a brand new apartment and I honestly can’t wait. But there so much admin and mortgages and lots of adulting that I’m not used too. But we’ll get there. Soon I’ll also have the library of my dreams too!
But whilst life seems to be getting quite busy these days, I will be trying to post a lot more even if they shorter reviews, I want to prioritise it more. I’m on holiday next week and I hope to just schedule some posts while I’m nice and relaxed. So let’s end this post on something bookish…
