Hi Everyone, It’s offically spring time today! – I’m writing this on the 31st, I’m very prompt with my post to start off April which is great! I just read over my previous wrap-up post and my blogging plans went right out of the window this month. It’s end of term craziness which I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with, so I’ve just been exhausted at the end of the day. March is on the busiest month’s for a librarian with World Book Day, although everyday is WBD for us. I did go to a book event at the beginning of the month with Simon and Schuster books which was amazing. See my recap here.

It’s April though, it’s the best month as it’s Easter Holidays from next week. I CAN’T WAIT!!! I want to read so so many books, and I’m also on holiday the second week so I have lots on the TBR. Plus I feel in such a blogging mood this month, so I hope for some amazing posts, including an interview with an author I met back in Febraury, a new feature and loads of reviews to catch up on.

Books Read and Book of the Month

The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden – 5 stars

A Girl Called Shamless by Laura Steven – 5 Stars

I’ve nearly finished my third book of the month but I could’t put it in the wrap-up so 2 books is good for me, I wish I could have read more though. My reviews will be up this month. I would highly recommend Katherine Arden for fantasy though, she’s a magnificent storyteller just brilliant and Laura’s sequel to The Opposite of Okay is just amazing. It’s even better than the first. Loved it! Both of these books are the book of the both for their own reasons as they are so different.

Books reviewed

Enchantée by Gita Trelease – 4 Stars

Books received (gifted) – thank you lovely publishers

Thank you so much to all of the publsihers who send me books. I’m looking forward to getting my TBR pile right down in the holidays. I’m especially looking forward to Sky in the Deep, I’m really into my fantasy at the moment, A new book by Faye Bird, Eeeek! So excited another thriller of a YA book, I’m on blog tour for this book in June. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, ever since YALC teasers I wanted to read this I was so happy to get this through the post. The Boy Who Steals Houses, book 2 from C.G. Drews, I recieved the her debut book which I still have to read so I will make every effort to make sure I read this next month.

My Most Anticipated for April

I’m currently reading Viper and it’s a page-turner people, I’m nearly finished it and I don’t want it to end. After interviewing Kesia on her debut novel in February I’ve been very excited to read this since and one of my most anticpated of the year is Beauty Sleep by Kathryn Evans, I look forward to getting a copy myself this month.

April TBR

I haven’t overwhelmed myself with books this month as I’m not quite sure what I might be in the mood for over my holiday. But these books, Summer Bird Blue and LOVE and Other Things to Live For are for blog tours this month and Sky in the Deep is the next fantasy book I hope to start reading.

Hope you all have a great April. Do you have a wrap-up post? Or looking forward to any of these books? What’s on your TBR this month? Let me know in the comments.
