HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Today is officially the 1st day of 2020, and 2019 is now last year even though it was only yesterday. Crazy. Whilst I thought I would go right ahead and do my anticipated reads and reading goals, I thought I would wrap-up last year officially with my last wrap up post of 2019. December was a brilliant month, full of festivities at work and at home and then finally spend Christmas with my family.
The beginning of the month was very chaotic, as you can probably imagine in all working environments. In a school it’s almost like each week your energy is fizzling out and mine certainly was until the last few days when you know you Christmas break is in touching distance. It’s has been a loooong term and I was ready for the holiday. As you have heard I spent Christmas with my mum at my grandparents house and it was a blissful 5 days, family, roast turkey and LOTS of reading. I read 3 books in 5 days. I mean that is unheard of from me and I said I read more in those days. But that week I had a social media break and this I would recommend to everyone – self care of bookworms.
Now I’m very thinking about 2020 plans for reading and my blog. It will be a year on WordPress on the 3rd and it’s been a crazy year. There is 2 things I want to do in 2020 on my blog that I’m really looking forward too. All will be revealed on Friday!!!
