July Monthly Wrap-Up

Happy Monday my lovely readers. It’s August, where is time going?! 2020 is just whizzing away, sometimes I can’t seem to catch up especially as I write another monthly wrap-up for July. In June I suffered the reading slump, which I hated immensely but July took a turn for the best and I got my reading mojo back. Yay! It’s another month, I always feel like it’s a do over of reading and choosing my books for the month. I love it.

The middle of July also saw the beginning of my summer holidays as I work in a school. I have to say it’s strange how it doesn’t feel very much like a summer holiday. But I’m making the most of the time off and relaxing, we are burning ourselves out more now than ever with the situation so everyone needs that down time. At the end of the term I did get some good news, I got a promotion at work to a Senior Librarian, basically means I’m managing two school libraries and starting my own little library team which I’m very excited about.

One thing I will be mentioning pretty much all week is my most anticipated read of the month. MIDNIGHT SUN!!!! I have been waiting for this book for over 10 years and my excitement of picking up the book tomorrow at the bookshop is the morning, it’s like I’m a teen again!!!!!
